Collection: Post-Pregnancy Laddoos

The post-partum period (Japa) is often referred to the first 6 weeks after delivery. This is the time when body changes that occurred in the last nine months revert to their original state. Nutritional demands are also high in this period owing to the recent blood loss from the delivery and the demands of breastfeeding.

These laddoos are beneficial for new mothers as well as Breastfeeding mothers and provide the following benefits:

  • High in calories and are required to meet the extra calories needed by a new mother

  • Are believed to speed up recovery and provide a mother with vital nutrients to regain her strength after delivering a child

  • Keep the body warm and help stimulate the immune system

  • Help develop strong bones and prevent back pain

  • Increase the production of breast milk
